hello there.

lops & meadow is a work in progress, and we're glad to see you here. do take a look and let us know what rocks and what socks, cause we're hoping to learn from you too. we hope to create floral designs that are a little different from what is being offered right now: good flowers with a personal touch. we provide floral arrangements from hand bouquets to daisies in a teacup (and then some), so stick around and see what we can come up with.

if you like what you see and think it'll make a great gift, drop us an email and let's come up with something together. that's right, your ideas matter too. that's what makes the gifts personal.

that said, we try to make the prices as low as possible without getting our hands and ideas tied. so do email us with enquiries on interested items as prices and designs are subject to change depending on seasons and availability.

now. even if you don't want to buy anything, do check on us often. we get lonely sometimes. and after all, flowers always made people happy.

lops & meadow had a truly memorable and fulfilling (albeit impossibly hot - wasn't it?) saturday afternoon last week, where we put together a solemnization wedding dinner for a lovely couple at the vineyard, a beautiful restaurant nestled in the green which is hort park.

the adventurous couple chose alice in wonderland as the theme of their wedding, and we understood that flowers alone would not be enough to create the atmosphere for the whimsical world of lewis carroll. that much said, we'll let the photos do the rest of the talking. click on the photos to get a better look! (:

red roses, red tulips and blueberries, adorned with pearls

red is the color of the day as it evokes a strong image of the red queen. constantly drawing familiar references from the novel, cartoon and movie, special attention was paid to details such as bouquet ribbons and button holes.

button holes for the groom and parents fashioned from poker cards

replacing the common button hole with those handmade from poker cards, the vips are intimately tied to the night's theme and have their very own keepsake! (:

the dining tables were decked out to resemble the mad hatter's tea party. featuring items such as tea cups filled with flowers and tied with little tags that said 'drink me', one is instantly transported into the world of wild merrymaking.

day and night

setting the mood right as dinner guests arrive, the reception table was decorated with teapots of pink roses and purple aster, as well as little props such as a garden rabbit, books and cake stand - a sight signifying the start of a wonderful (late night) tea party.

the solemnization was held at possibly the most breathtaking place in hort park - the outdoor patio overlooking an infinity pool. set against this beautiful backdrop, the solemnization table was simply decorated with gerberas and purple asters for the chairs, and a cake stand planted with grass, moss and succulents for the ring pillow.
